Solar street lights are being used to light up roads and streets in remote areas, villages, in parks to save on energy. Complete control and monitoring on the working of lights can be done by installing GSM/ GPRS fitted RTUs along with the solar street lights. We can get information about the battery status and for how long it will work or even if the light is not working we will get notification. In the event of theft ar damage of lights or batteries we can detect all this remotely from the control room SCADA.  Any fault occurred can immediately be attended by sending a technician at site so to minimize the downtime of the light. Wireless GSM/GPRS RTUs are playing very significant role now for checking the performance of electrical systems.
